Which GPX files work with DDD Maps?
Most GPX files with track, route, or waypoint coordinates work, including exports from Strava, Garmin, Komoot, Wikiloc, AllTrails, and similar route apps.
What route size limits apply?
Typical Strava and Garmin exports are comfortably within the route limits. Uploads can include up to 150,000 coordinates in the GPX file, exports can use up to 75,000 route coordinates, and the export request must fit within 10 MB.
Can I create a route animation without a GPX file?
Yes. You can search for a mapped hike and use route data where it is available.
Which MP4 formats and quality tiers are available?
DDD Maps exports landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, and portrait post 4:5 MP4 videos. Standard uses 960x540, 720x1280, or 864x1080 at 24 fps. Full HD (Pro) uses 1920x1080, 1080x1920, or 1080x1350 at 24 fps. 4K (Pro) uses 3840x2160, 2160x3840, or 2160x2700 at 24 fps.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. You can open the GPX editor, preview a route, and export a Standard MP4 with a watermark for free. Pro unlocks the paid GPX features.
What does Pro unlock for GPX videos?

How long can a GPX animation be?
GPX exports can be up to 180 seconds long, including the optional zoom-in intro and route reveal. In Follow mode, the minimum animation time depends on route length and camera distance, with at least 10 seconds. Closer views can require longer videos.
How long does a GPX render take?
The editor shows an estimated render time. Actual time varies with video length, quality, scene complexity, and the render queue.
